Boro Rangers hit 14 while Redcar Newmarket move up to fourth on a busy day of Teesside League and cup action.

Fishburn Park are through to the semi-finals of the Mitre Prostar MacMillan Bowl League Cup and will play Whinney Banks YCC in the April semi-final after they drew 1-1 with local rivals Staithes Athletic, but went through 3-1 on penalties.

Unbeaten Boro Rangers have a firm grip on the Championship after they scored fourteen time without reply against Billingham FC, Dean Talukder scored six goals, Danny Lockwood scored a hat trick in the emphatic victory, chasing Stockton West End swapped venues with Nunthorpe Athletic and then ran out 9-2 victors with Ben Turner scoring four times, Redcar Newmarket move up into 4th place after a 7-1 victory at St Mary’s College, Kieron Clark scoring a hat trick, Thornaby Dubliners came from behind to beat Redcar Town 2-1, Whinney Banks YCC also had to come from behind before beating Thirsk Falcons 3-1 with Lee Mahon scoring a brace, BEADS FC won 7-1 away to Lingdale with James Brodie-Myers scoring a brace and Grangetown Boys Club won 4-2 at Yarm FC with Mark Ward scoring a brace.
