Blaze Young Peoples Charity is based in what is known as the ‘TS6 corridor’, providing positive activities, healthy life messages and support to disadvantaged young people.  Their aim is to empower and transform lives, ensuring that everyone gets the same chances in life.

Recently, Blaze became one of several charities to get a financial boost from Redcar and Cleveland’s YOYO Funding.

So what difference has that made and how are the young people benefiting from this project?

Zetland FM’s Julie Donaldson caught up with Project Leader, Matty Cross, the Blaze team and some of the service users to find out more.
