Mayor To Host Charity Choir Concert
Two well deserving charities will be at the centre of a Christmas choir concert hosted by the Mayor of Redcar & Cleveland.
The charities are the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Headway which supports people with brain injuries. They were chosen by Mayor Carole Simms as her supported charities when she took up her Mayoral duties.
Taking place on Thursday 4 December at Tuned In! the Mayor’s Christmas Choir Concert will feature local choirs giving it their all to raise money for two very good causes.
Choral singing from two of Redcar’s primary schools – Ings Farm and Wheatlands – will be complemented by the Topline Youth Choir featuring members of schools from year one to year eleven.
Mayor Simms said: “The choir concert is a great way of showing off the talents of talented youngsters throughout Redcar and the surrounding area as well as raising money for two charities I hold close to my heart.”
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.00pm, are priced at £3 and available from reception at Tuned In! or by calling: 01642 771245. Alternatively they can be purchased through the Mayor’s office by calling: 01642 444501.
