Cleveland Police were called at around 3.20pm on Sunday 12th October, following an incident in Grangetown in which it is believed threats were made with a firearm.

Armed officers attended Wilton Way and the road was cordoned off for several hours, while a number of addresses were searched in connection with the incident. A 21 year old local man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of a firearm and has been questioned by Police.

No-one was injured in the incident and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
