Emergency services were called to Eston yesterday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash.

Police, fire, paramedics and the Great North Air Ambulance Service were all called to the scene of the incident on Meadowgate in Eston just after 3pm yesterday.

Meadowgate was blocked in both directions blocked due to the accident at Parkgate.

Two people were taken to James Cook hospital by road, no details as to their condition or any injuries have yet been released.
