Cleveland Police are appealing for information and any relevant footage following a burglary in Nunthorpe.
The incident occurred at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
Officers are appealing for anyone who travelled along the A1043 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on 7th November who may have seen vehicles parked up towards the end of the bypass near Stokesley Road to get in touch.
They would also like to hear from anyone who saw any vehicles near the recently demolished building which backs onto a field near that location.
Anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
Councillors have approved for a boutique-style hotel and restaurant to potentially be built on the site of a former book shop in Saltburn.
The plans for the property in Amber Street, which were once occupied by the Saltburn Bookshop until its closure, were approved by members of Redcar and Cleveland Council’s regulatory committee in line with a recommendation they received.
They envisage five bedrooms being created with en-suite facilities - two on the first floor, where a staff room and office space will also be added - and three on the second floor.
The approved change of use would also see a restaurant and bar created on the ground floor, which will be extended, while a covered glass awning will be added to the rear of the building potentially for the use of customers.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are holding another Cost of Living Crisis Community drop-in session later today.
The session is taking place at Guisborough Methodist Church between 11am and 1pm today.
Residents are encouraged to pop in and speak to the services, which include, Cleveland Fire Brigade UK, the MEC Affordable Warmth Team, Redcar and Cleveland Citizens Advice, Beyond Housing, Groundworks, RCBC Warm and Well Team and Carers Together.
All of these organisations will be on hand to offer advice, guidance and support on a range of topics.
