Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 15-year-old boy suffered a stab wound in an incident in Redcar.

The incident happened on Mersey Road at around 8:40pm on Monday.

The boy was with a group of friends when he was approached by two suspects and suffered a non-life threatening stab wound.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment and is now recovering at home.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.

 

Officers are asking for the public's help after a man suffered a broken jaw in an incident in Saltburn.

The incident happened on Saturday 27th May around 11:50pm when the 57-year-old man was assaulted outside Sainsbury's by another male, having just walked through the archway from Station Square.

The man underwent surgery to his broken jaw and is now recovering at home.

Officers believe the victim spoke with some women at a bus stop outside Boots chemist just before the incident and officers would like to speak to these women.

They can get in touch with Cleveland Police by calling the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been sold items stolen in a burglary in Eston.

The incident is believed to have happened between Wednesday 17th May and Friday 19th May on Moorcock Close in Bankfields.

Personal belongings including jewellery were stolen.

The items included a number of watches, chains and bracelets, along with a Playstation 4 and a number of games.

Anyone who may have information or who may have been offered any of these items for sale is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
