Police are warning residents in Redcar to be vigilant following a number of attempted garage burglaries;

...and British Cycling have announced that the 2023 British National Road Championships will take place in Redcar and Cleveland this year.
Police are warning residents in Redcar to be vigilant following a number of attempted garage burglaries.
The incidents occurred between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday when two males wearing black clothing, and possibly riding bikes, targeted properties on Aske Road, Tyne Road, Easson Road, Sandringham Road, Dene Grove, Laburnum Road, Maple Square, Fisherman's Square and Park Avenue

Anyone with dash cam or private CCTV footage in the areas of the incidents is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
Officers are appealing for information after a disabled man was robbed in Middlesbrough.
At around 1pm on Tuesday, the 63 year old man, who uses a wheelchair, was travelling along College Road when three suspects approached him and stole an oxygen tank from the rear of the wheelchair.
Two of the males were described as wearing blue trapper style hats and one of the males was wearing a grey trapper style hat.
One male was wearing a wax jacket and the other wore a bomber jacket.
They are all believed to be teenagers.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or knows of the males responsible is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
British Cycling have announced that the 2023 British National Road Championships will take place in Redcar and Cleveland this year.
The time-trial, circuit and road race championships will place across three days of racing from 21-25 June.
In addition to the championships, Redcar and Cleveland will also play host to an additional round of this year’s men’s and women’s National Road Series on Sunday 1 October.
The East Cleveland Classic will become the final round of each series, further adding to what will be a memorable year of cycling in our area.
