Cash, weapons and suspected cannabis have been seized after being found in a vehicle in our area.
Officers arrested a man and woman after a vehicle was stopped for having no insurance in the Elvington Green area of Brambles Farm.
Police stopped the Ford S-Max at around half past midnight yesterday and found a large quantity of cash, suspected cannabis, and weapons including a lock knife and two knuckle dusters.
The items were seized and a man aged 29 and a woman aged 34 were arrested in connection with the incident.
The man was taken into police custody and the woman was released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a property in Pallister Park.
The incident occurred on Parklands Close on Thursday at around 10:15am when an unknown male who is described as being a white male entered the property and had a conversation with the elderly occupant of the house.
He then stole the victim's wallet and left.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage which might show the male responsible to please come forward.

South Bank Library will be reopening today following an emergency closure.
The library had to be closed over the weekend and yesterday due to some issues with flooding.
Now Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have confirmed that the library will be open again today now that the flooding issues have been cleared up.
The council has thanked local residents for their patience and understanding whilst the issues were resolved.
