Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a missing man who was last seen in our area;

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a missing man who was last seen in our area.
38-year-old Peter Edwards was last seen on Saturday 22nd October at Asda on Pheasant Fields Lane in Skelton at 5:11pm, and officers say that they are extremely concerned for his welfare.
It is believed he travelled to Asda in a BMW vehicle and parked the vehicle at the Longacre pub opposite Asda.
The vehicle was recovered on Tuesday 1st November.
The last vehicle sighting prior to Peter being seen at Asda was at Stokesley Motors on Manor Close in Stokesley.
Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
A busy road in Middlesbrough was closed yesterday afternoon after a collision involving car and pedestrian.
Police have taped off a street after reports of an incident on Marton Road in the town.
The road was cordoned off from the Baltimore Hotel towards Southfield Road as police carried out enquiries.
A police car and van attended the scene with several officers also in attendance.
The exact nature of the incident, or details of any injuries, is not yet known.

A meeting is being held later today to discuss plans which have been drawn up for Temperance Square.
Local people are being invited to join the team today from 3pm until 6:30pm at Loftus Town Hall.
Those attending will be able to see what the regeneration plans are and to give their opinions.
