Three men have been arrested after a vehicle was stopped in Redcar and an estimated £30,000 worth of cannabis found in the car;
A 28-year-old man has been arrested after being spotted by officers carrying a large TV in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 20th October) and upon searching him was also found in possession of two lock knives;
...and Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have warned that there may be problems with garden waste collection update for residents of Boosbeck, Lingdale, Brotton and parts of Guisborough today.
Three men have been arrested after a vehicle was stopped in Redcar and an estimated £30,000 worth of cannabis found in the car.
Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team officers, acting on community intelligence, stopped the blue Fiat Panda on Muriel Street around 8:20pm on Wednesday 19th October.
Three men aged 18, 26 and 61 were arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody at this time.
Enquiries are ongoing.

The man was seen by response officers on patrol on Marton Road as he carried a large TV around 4:40am this morning near to the Stoneacre garage.
Officers stopped the man and upon searching him also found two lock knives.
The man was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a knife in a public place. He remains in police custody at this time.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have warned that there may be problems with garden waste collection update for residents of Boosbeck, Lingdale, Brotton and parts of Guisborough today.
Due to a driver shortage, the council says they will not be able to collect garden waste bins in these areas today.
Residents are being asked to put their bins out again tomorrow morning as the council is aiming to get the garden waste bins collected then.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience that this may cause.
