Three people who were arrested after the death of 22-year-old Lewis Ward have been bailed.
Two men, aged 21 and 22, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and a 30-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have all been released on conditional bail by Cleveland Police.
Last Thursday, Lewis was travelling on an electric scooter along Birchington Avenue in Grangetown when he was struck by a car.
He was taken to James Cook University Hospital with head injuries but sadly died three days later.
Police enquiries into the alleged murder are ongoing.
Police have issued an appeal for information after a seafront shelter at Redcar was deliberately set on fire.
Enquiries are underway after police were notified just before 7pm on Monday that a covered seating area on Redcar seafront was on fire.
Officers say they are now working with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council to identify those responsible and we would ask anyone with information or dashcam or CCTV which could assist their on-going enquiries to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has introduced new dog control powers in an aim to reduce the number of incidents caused by dogs not being under proper control.
The new measures include requiring owners to keep their dogs on a lead in a number formal parks and gardens in Redcar and Cleveland.
These include Locke Park, Borough Park, Zetland Park, Marske Valley Gardens, Coronation Park in Loftus, and Marine Parade and parts of the Valley Gardens in Saltburn.
The rules also provide powers to enforcement officers who can direct any person in charge of a dog in any public space to put their dog on a lead if the dog is showing behaviour that is causing annoyance or disturbance.
Those refusing to do so will be committing an offence.
