Police are appealing for the publics help to locate a male who is believed to have been assaulted in Clarendon Car Park on Southfield Lane in Middlesbrough just before midnight on Thursday.
Police received a call from a good Samaritan who was concerned for the male, who is believed to have been assaulted by three young males, believed to be teenagers.
The report stated that three young males threw an object which hit the male on the head as he was running, causing him to fall to the floor.
The suspects are then reported to have punched and kicked the male as he lay on the floor and then they made off towards Linthorpe Road.
Officers are also appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or anyone who may know the identity of the victim or three male suspects to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
The volunteers of the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team were called into action in our area yesterday.
The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police at lunchtime yesterday regarding a lone runner who had reportedly suffered a leg injury whilst she was running on the North York Moors National Park south-east of Osmotherley.
Team members located the runner, assisted her into their vehicle and drove back along tracks onto the Cleveland Way and down Black Hambleton hill to reunite her with her husband at Square Corner.
The call-out lasted approximately 2-hours, and 15 Team members were involved.
A major redevelopment of the Grade II listed Redcar Central Station will see this historic railway building at the heart of the town centre restored to its former glory.
Conservation works to transform it from an empty, dilapidated building into a vibrant, more welcoming gateway to the town are planned, enabling it to function as both a leisure and retail hub as well as a key transport link, providing rail facilities including ticket machines, travel information and covered waiting areas.
£5.95m from the TVCA Growth Zone and Investment Funds has been allocated to the project to deliver the refurbishment of the building, making it fully accessible to all and including improvements to the public areas outside.
