Tributes have been paid to a four-year-old boy who sadly lost his life in a road traffic collision in Skelton on Saturday;
Three fire engines were called to the scene of a caravan fire in Dormanstown on Saturday afternoon;
...and the volunteer crew of the Redcar RNLI lifeboat were called into action in our area at the weekend.
Tributes have been paid to a four-year-old boy who sadly lost his life in a road traffic collision in Skelton on Saturday.
Police were called just after 2pm to Grampian Road in Skelton to a report of a child who had been in collision with a car.
Four-year-old Isaac Matthew Crofts sadly died following the incident.
Specially trained officers are supporting the Isaac's family, who have described him as a beloved grandson, son and nephew who had a beautiful smile and was adored by all who knew him.
Officers have thanked members of the public who assisted at the scene of the incident.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are asking anyone who hasn't already spoken to them to call them on the non-emergency number 101.

Firefighters were called shortly after 2.45pm to reports of a caravan ablaze in Westfield Court.
Large plumes of smoke were visible in the area as emergency services work to extinguish the blaze.
The volunteer crew of the Redcar RNLI lifeboat were called into action in our area at the weekend.
Just before quarter past midday yesterday both Redcar lifeboats were launched to assist in a search for a missing person.
Whilst the search was underway, the missing person was found by police.
The lifeboats were then able to return to the lifeboat station.
