Emergency services were called to a street in Saltburn after a bus caught fire yesterday.
Cleveland Fire Brigade were called to Corngrave Road in Saltburn following reports that a fire had broken out on an Arriva bus.
Flames were visible underneath the bus near to the driver's side front tyre.
Two fire crews, one from Skelton and the other from Grangetown, were called to the incident at around twenty to six yesterday evening.
Firefighters were able to use one jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.
No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
Detectives are appealing for information after an East Cleveland man was injured during an aggravated burglary.
The victim, who's in his 50s, reported that between 2.30am and 2.50am in the early hours of Saturday an unknown group of males entered his home in Grosvenor Terrace, Carlin How, used weapons to assault him, and stole property.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries and wounds to his head and arm.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a report that heavy plant machinery was set alight in Middlesbrough.
The alleged incident happened on 24th April at Elderwood Grove housing estate.
The boy was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a pedal bike and criminal damage to another.
He was taken into police custody.
