The volunteers of the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team have been called into action to assist an injured walker on a coastal path near Marske.
The team were called at around half past midday yesterday to assist an ambulance crew who had been treating the woman for a knee injury.
Once the ambulance staff were ready she was lifted onto a stretcher, secured in a vacuum mattress and wrapped in a casualty bag to keep warm.
She was then carried back to the roadside and transferred to the ambulance.

Just after 11pm on Thursday officers were called to a report of a burglary in progress at Sainsburys on Bankfields Road.
On arrival several men were allegedly seen leaving the scene and two men aged 28 and 34 were arrested in connection with the reported incident.
Enquiries are on-going and police believe the area was busy with passing motorists at the time.

Should you see anyone in trouble on or near the coast, you should dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
