Fifty thousand pounds worth of cannabis has been seized from a property in Redcar.
A drugs warrant was executed at a property on the High Street in Redcar yesterday as part of Operation Endeavour to tackle serious and organised crime.
78 cannabis plants estimated to be worth around £50,000 were seized from the address by Redcar and Cleveland Neighbourhood Officers.
A man was arrested in connection with the warrant and remains in custody.

Firefighters were called to a supermarket in our area after a car caught fire in the car park yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the ASDA store at South Bank just before quarter to three yesterday afternoon after reports of a vehicle on fire.
Pictures taken by a passer-by showed the aftermath of the blaze, with the bonnet of the car appearing to be completely destroyed.
One breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet was used.
Firefighters were seen to be leaving the scene at around 3.15pm.
No further details of the fire have been released and it is not yet known what caused it.
Police are appealing for information after a large amount of archery equipment was stolen from a property in Ormesby.
The incident occurred at around 2am on Thursday 20th May when a male on a pedal cycle approached the address on Fairfield Avenue and gained access to the garage.
A large amount of archery equipment worth thousands of pounds was stolen from the premises.
The equipment is rare and not available locally.
