Six people have been charged with murder in connection with the death of a Polish Dad.
Tomasz Dembler's body was found in woodland near Flatts Lane earlier this month and a murder investigation was subsequently launched.
Investigators believe the 39-year-old could have died any time from mid-March up until the time his body was discovered in the woods at Normanby on April 12.
Yesterday, Cleveland Police confirmed that five men and one woman have now been charged with his murder and will appear at Teesside Crown Court tomorrow.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was threatened with a machete and sprayed in the face with an unknown chemical in an aggravated burglary at the weekend.
The incident happened at a property on Allendale Road in Ormesby around half past midnight on Saturday.
Four males approached the address from the direction of Wetherby Green, and used force to gain entry to the property.
The suspects threatened a 25-year-old man with a machete and then sprayed him in the face with an unknown chemical, causing burns. The victim attended James Cook University Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The suspects left the property empty handed. They are described as wearing dark tracksuits and had their faces covered. It is unknown at this time whether they used a vehicle.
Anyone with private CCTV in the area, any witnesses or anyone with further information is asked to contact Redcar & Cleveland CID on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are warning members of the public living in Redcar and Cleveland to be vigilant after the Force received five reports of shed break-in's over the past fortnight.
Two of these reports were in the Zetland area where two sheds were broken into and a bike was stolen.
The public are advised to make sheds as secure as possible, use strong padlocks and cover windows with a grille or bars to prevent them being used as an entry point.
