A bus belonging to sea cadets in our area has been vandalised and may have to be scrapped.
The bus had been parked in what was believed to be a secure area in Kirkleatham, and appears to have been targetted twice by vandals who have smashed all the windows and caused extensive damage to other parts of the vehicle.
Early reports suggest it is going to be beyond economical repair.
The van was a much needed resource for moving the Sea Cadets from the Redcar Unit and other local units around the country for courses, training and trips.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
