A large quantity of Class A drugs have been seized from a property in South Bank;

Police are asking for the public's help to trace a wanted man;

...and Cleveland Fire Brigade is appealing to the public for support after repeated violent attacks on firefighters in the Northern Road and Whinney Banks area of Middlesbrough.

 

A large quantity of Class A drugs have been seized from a property in South Bank.

Special Constables executed a warrant on Wednesday evening which resulted in 2.5 kilos of class A drugs being seized.

Two people were arrested as a result of the warrant.

A man aged 33 and a woman aged 38 were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and they have been released pending enquiries. 

Anyone with information regarding drugs activity in our area is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Police are asking for the public's help to trace a wanted man.

32-year-old Lewis Heighton has links to the Easterside and Linthorpe areas of Middlesbrough and is wanted on prison recall.

Police would urge anyone who sees him, or who knows his wherabouts, to contact Cleveland Police on 101.

 

Cleveland Fire Brigade is appealing to the public for support after repeated violent attacks on firefighters in the Northern Road and Whinney Banks area of Middlesbrough.

In the last fortnight fire crews have been called out to fire incidents in the area 13 times.

Groups of children and youths are deliberately setting fires and attacking vehicles and firefighters, the latest attack was Wednesday this week.

Middlesbrough Council’s Neighbourhood Safety team has identified two young people from CCTV footage, who have been dealt with by Cleveland Police.
