The highest number of new cases were reported in Middlesbrough where there were 57 new cases, with Stockton closely behind with 56.
Here in Redcar and Cleveland there were a further 51.

At Teesside Crown Court yesterday 39-year-old Anthony Hart was found guilty of murdering 62-year-old Francis Betteridge, known as Frank, on December 27th 2019.
The victim's burning body was found by a relative inside the semi-detached bungalow on Stephens Road in South Bank.
Mr Hart, of Hartington Road in Stockton, had accepted causing manslaughter but denied murder.
However yesterday a jury found him guilty of murder for which he was given a life sentence.
