The latest 24-hour figures show that there have been 183 more cases of Coronavirus on Teesside.
The highest daily increase in covid-19 cases was recorded in Middlesbrough with 64, closely followed by Stockton with 61.
Here in Redcar and Cleveland there were a further 23.
Police have now confirmed the name of a man who was found dead in a field near Grangetown on Sunday.
He is 45-year-old Lee Spencer Powell who lived in Middlesbrough.
His body was discovered on land near the link road off a roundabout between the Trunk Road and Church Lane in Grangetown, not far from Grangetown Fire Station and the Tesco and Aldi supermarkets.
Two people were arrested in connection with Mr Powell's death shortly after his body was discovered.
The 46-year-old man and 50-year-old woman have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Cleveland Police said that specially trained officers are supporting Mr Powell's family and that their thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.
Police had to be called after engineers found a cannabis farm in a house in Middlesbrough.
Officers were called to a property on Brompton Street in Linthorpe after the discovery was made.
Around 40 plants were found on the first floor, with a loft area prepared for further plants.
An imitation firearm was also found in the property.
