The number of coronavirus cases on Teesside have increased by almost 400 in the past 24 hours.
Community Covid-19 testing will be available to residents of East Cleveland when the service launches in Loftus next week.
...and Police are appealing for information after two pedal cycles were stolen from two properties in Redcar.
The number of coronavirus cases on Teesside have increased by almost 400 in the past 24 hours.
There have been another 397 confirmed cases of the virus recorded in all four areas.
According to figures, released by Public Health England, the biggest increase in cases has been in Middlesbrough, where there have been another 126 positive tests confirmed in the town.
Stockton is not far behind with another 116 new cases of covid-19, whilst here in Redcar and Cleveland there have been 82 more cases.
Community Covid-19 testing will be available to residents of East Cleveland when the service launches in Loftus next week.
The lateral flow tests which produce results in around 30 minutes will be available at Loftus Youth and Community Centre on Duncan Place for anyone aged 18 years or over, not displaying Coronavirus symptoms.
Test can be booked by visiting the Council's website or calling the contact centre on 01642 774774. There are also a number of walk-in appointments available so the public can visit the site for a test during opening hours.
Police are appealing for information after two pedal cycles were stolen from two properties in Redcar.
The incidents both occurred on Saturday.
In the first, a black and white Giant Trance mountain bike was stolen from the garage of a property on Durham Road .
In the second, a blue Voodoo Hybrid mountain bike was stolen from an address on Castle Road some time between 9pm and 9:30pm.
Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information regarding the thefts or anyone who may have been offered the bikes for sale is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
