There has been another rise in the number of coronavirus cases across Teesside.
The latest Public Health England figures released yesterday show that there were a further 248 cases.
Stockton had the highest number of new cases, with 88, whilst Middlesbrough recorded a further 76.
Here in Redcar and Cleveland there were a further 54 new confirmed cases.
The volunteers of the Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team were called into action in our area over the weekend.
Shortly after midday the team were contacted by the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with a request to attend to a casualty who had fallen and sustained a head injury in Guisborough Woods at the top of Butt Lane.
The woman was walking with her husband and family when she fell resulting in the injury.
She was then taken by Rescue Land Rover to the rendezvous-point at the Bow Street centre where she was assessed by ambulance personnel and then taken to the James Cook Hospital in a NEAS Ambulance.
Police seized nearly a quarter of a million pounds worth of cannabis from a property in Redcar on Friday.
Around £240,000 worth of cannabis was found at the property on Cleveland Street.
Officers from the Redcar Neighbourhood Team executed the drugs warrant and 268 cannabis plants were seized in total.
The warrant was conducted after receiving intelligence from the local community.
