...and Police are re appealing to trace missing 15 year old Blaine Strange, who was last seen in Guisborough on Monday 17th August but officers believe he could now be in the Durham area.

 

A mobile Coronavirus testing unit is to be made available at Kirkleatham Walled Garden throughout the weekend after Redcar and Cleveland has seen a small rise in Covid-19 cases.

Bookings for morning appointments open at 6pm the evening before.

For afternoon slots, they open at 8am on the day.

Anyone wishing to be tested but cannot drive will be asked to indicate this when they book the test and will be able to walk-in for their appointment.

The symptoms of coronavirus are a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

Anyone who is experiencing Coronavirus symptoms should self-isolate immediately and arrange to get themselves tested by dialling 119 or visiting the NHS Coronavirus testing website.

 

Police have discovered a large cannabis farm in Middlesbrough.

Officers from the Operational Support Unit and Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team discovered the cannabis farm yesterday at a property on Lytton Street.

129 plants were discovered, estimated to be worth around £129,000, along with various pieces of equipment to grow them.

The plants and equipment were seized and enquiries are ongoing in relation to those responsible.

 

Police are re appealing to trace missing 15 year old Blaine Strange, who was last seen in Guisborough on Monday 17th August but officers believe he could now be in the Durham area.

He is described as being 6ft tall, of slim build, pale complexion with short, thick, bright ginger hair and he was last seen wearing a black & white Lacoste jacket and navy blue jogging bottoms.

Anyone who may have seen him, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
