Police are appealing for information regarding a Robbery that occured yesterday afternoon at around 14:20 on Station Road in Loftus;

Police are appealing for information regarding a Robbery that occured yesterday afternoon at around 14:20 on Station Road in Loftus.

2 males on a motorbike are believed to have been involved.

The passenger was wearing a metallic blue crash helmet and the driver was wearing a green crash helmet.

Anyone with any further information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Labour MP for Redcar, Anna Turley, has criticised the government for pushing ahead with Universal Credit despite claims that the reform pushes people into poverty and debt.

 Yesterday in Parliament Anna asked Ministers for guarantees that the 11,000 households in her Redcar constituency which are due to transition to the new benefit would not be worse off.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault where a man was punched and knocked unconscious, leaving him with a fractured skull.

The incident happened at around 1am on Monday 15th October outside Flares nightclub on Albert Road in Middlesbrough.

A 30-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a fractured skull. He remains there in a ‘stable’ condition whilst receiving treatment.

The suspect is described as a white male, of stocky build, with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue jumper, blue jeans and brown boots.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Detective Constable Matthew Speak from Middlesbrough Operational Crime Team on the non-emergency number 101.
