A 24 year old man has been arrested in connection with the woman’s death and we do not currently believe there is any risk to the wider public. He is in police custody awaiting questioning by detectives.

Officers remain in the area and any one with concerns or who may have seen or heard anything suspicious can speak to the officers or phone Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
