An emergency service response had to be made after a high risk person went missing in Saltburn.

Cleveland Police, alongside the Staithes and Redcar Coastguard rescue teams were called in to search for the person on Monday night.

Redcar RNLI also helped in the search and the person was located and left with police.

The public are being reminded that for all coastal emergencies, you immediately dial 999 and ask for Coastguard.

Neighbourhood officers in Redcar are reminding the public to report anti-social behaviour in our area.

In response to complaints of ASB by residents and businesses within the Coatham ward, for the past eight weeks officers have been identifying those responsible and taking positive actions against these individuals with partner agencies, including the ASB team from Redcar and Cleveland Council. Through this work the teams have witnessed a reduction in ASB but are aware this issue still persists.

Now officers have said that they will continue to identify and target these offenders and escalate enforcement action against those already identified.

You can report Anti Social Behaviour in your area on the non-emergency number 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

It's been a windy 48 hours throughout Redcar and Cleveland.
