An appeal has been made after the Zetland Lifeboat Museum in Redcar was broken into.
Overnight on Tuesday the museum was broken into and 3 collection boxes were stolen.
One is about 3ft tall and features a model of the Zetland FM on a stand, one is a model of the Zetland about 2ft long and the other is a small lifeboat station that launches a lifeboat when money is put in.
Very little money was in the boxes, however the boxes themselves are rare items and are thought to be irreplaceable.
Now the independent museum is asking for help from the public to find the items and identify who is responsible.
Children in Redcar are being offer a new way of getting active this school year, thanks to an exciting new partnership between Britain’s most-decorated gymnast and local leisure provider.
Everyone Active, which manages Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart and Saltburn Leisure Centre in partnership with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, has partnered with double Olympic gold medallist, Max Whitlock, MBE, to launch an exciting gymnastic programme.
Max Whitlock Gymnastics aims to get more young people healthy and active by offering them access to fun, engaging gymnastics sessions, which are accessible for children age between three and 11.
Through their partnership, Everyone Active and Max Whitlock have pledged to get one million children engaged in the sport by 2022. This will be done through the delivery of the scheme in more than 30 Everyone Active centres across the country.
Both Redcar and Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart and Saltburn Leisure Centre have been specially selected by Everyone Active to deliver the programme for children in Redcar.
Classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts will take their vintage motors out for a late summer spin on Sunday when members of the Middlesbrough and District Motor Club descend on Saltburn.
Vintage petrol heads will meet in Cat Nab Car Park to show off their prized vehicles while a selection of classic cars and motorbikes test their age-old machines on the hill climb up Saltburn Bank.
The seaside showcase will include vehicles on display ranging from a British racing green Bentley to pristine Triumph and Norton motorcycles and a 1912 Crossley which has previously raced on Saltburn beach.
