Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was robbed in Middlesbrough.

At around 10.30pm on Friday 12th January the boy and a friend were crossing the White Bridge from Belle Vue Grove in Middlesbrough towards the Brigham Road area when three males wearing dark clothing threatened the victim and stole his mountain bike, which was a Christmas gift.

The three males then fled towards the Berwick Hills area.

The stolen bike is described as being a blue and red Cube mountain bike.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have seen the bike or been offered it for sale is asked to contact PC Steven Bolsover from Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
