Police have made an appeal for information after woman was assaulted in Marske.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after the woman was the subject of a serious sexual assault in Errington Woods in Marske last Monday 11 September at around 6.15 in the evening.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Errington Woods around this time or knows anything about the attack is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

An investigation has begun after a man was hit over the head and robbed in Middlesbrough.

Around ten to eight on Friday evening, a 34-year-old Stockton man was walking around the grassed area between Bishopton Road, Castle Way and Lambton Road in Middlesbrough when he was approached from behind and hit on the head with what he believed was a metal bar.

The victim fell to the ground where he was repeatedly kicked and punched and cash was stolen from his clothing.

He managed to get up and run off to a near-by shop.

Whilst his injuries were not life-threatening the victim did attend hospital and needed stitches to his head.

He believes three males, all unknown to him were gathered around him when he ran off.

One of them may have been wearing red hoody and grey trousers.

Other descriptions are they were wearing black tracksuits and one of them was on a bike.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or knows anything about the attack is asked to contact DC John Roberts at Cleveland Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A Redcar-based business has received a boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.

Last week, Martin Mullen, the owner of TweetMaster, tweeted Theo about his Redcar-based social media business during 'Small Business Sunday' and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.

The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 2000 winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed Shopkeeper Theo re-tweeted TweetMaster's message to his almost 500,000 followers and as a result, tweetmaster.co.uk now has more followers and extra orders for their business.

They will now also be profiled on a special #SBS website which is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

TweetMaster said It is great to have support from Theo because it's been tough trying to raise our profile and Theo has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following."
