Police are urging drivers to check their dash cams after a bank raid in Eston.
Police were called on Tuesday morning after a white Ford Kuga drove into the front of Yorkshire Bank.
Men stole tens of thousands of pounds in cash boxes before driving away.
The car was thought to be using false number plates and was later found burnt out in South Lackenby.
There the thieves changed into a dark coloured BMW before driving off.
Anyone who witnessed the event or anyone with dash cam footage is asked to call police on 101.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a car smashed into two houses in Redcar.
The black Vauxhall drove into the front of the terrace on Low Farm Drive on Tuesday.
There was nobody in the homes at the time so no one was injured.
However, fire crews had to remove the car which has caused massive damage to the houses.
The driver was arrested and has since been released under investigation.
And police are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into a lamp post and pedestrian barrier.
It happened on Monday evening at around six o'clock on Flatts Lane in Normanby.
The driver of the Volvo was taken to hospital and treated for broken ribs.
