The suspect attacked the 67-year-old man with an unknown object and left the victim with minor injuries to his face and arms.

He then made off on foot empty handed and ran to the High Street.

The suspect is described as being six foot tall, of slim build, and around 18-years-old.

He was wearing a camouflage jacket and light coloured trainers and might have facial injuries from the incident.
