Crews from the Redcar RNLI lifeboat were called into action at the weekend;

...and police are re-appealing once again to trace 75-year-old James Hannan who originally went missing from Grangetown in Middlesbrough last Thursday.

 

 

Investigations are continuing after a man from our area died at a popular holiday and caravan park.

22-year-old Ryan Vincent from Skelton died following an incident at Primrose Valley, near Filey in North Yorkshire on 22nd May.

Mr Vincent was taken to hospital after being detained by security staff in the grounds of the park.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the incident.

They have been released on bail as enquiries continue.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which happened at about 11.30pm on May 22 is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.

 

Crews from the Redcar RNLI lifeboat were called into action at the weekend.

A call was received at ten to five on Saturday morning reporting a person in the sea at Redcar.

Prior to the launch of the lifeboats it was confirmed that the sighting had been a false alarm and the launch was cancelled.

 

Police are re-appealing once again to trace 75-year-old James Hannan who originally went missing from Grangetown in Middlesbrough on May 25.

James was last seen in Scarborough on Thursday at 2:45pm and it is believed he travelled there by bus.

He was wearing black trousers, a beige top and was possibly carrying a brown bag.

If anyone has seen James they are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101
