Police are still investigating the rape of a woman on Redcar seafront.
Two men forced the woman and her toddler into the back of a dark coloured saloon on the slipway near the boating lake at around midday on Friday.
The car made its way down Turner Street and eventually to Yearby where she was raped.
However, police assure us that the child wasn't harmed.
The victim and her child were then forced out of the vehicle on Kirkleatham Lane between 5:30 and 6:30 in the evening.
Now Cleveland Police are repeating their appeal for information.
Yesterday they revealed that the woman was screaming for help as she was forced into the car.
Because it happened at a busy time of day they are urging anyone who might have seen, heard or captured CCTV footage of the incident to call police on 101.
The body of a man has been found in woodland near a pub near Guisborough.
Police and the ambulance service were called to near the Fox and Hounds pub on Sunday morning after the body of a man in his 30s was discovered.
A cordon was put in place as the emergency services investigated the area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Community groups and businesses have joined forces with the council to carry out a deep clean of Guisborough’s Westgate.
The cleans are taking place every Sunday until the end of March.
Westgate will have its pavements pressure washed and its litter cleaned up.
It's part of Redcar and Cleveland Council’s “Love It” campaign which aims to improve the environment.
It follows on from the success of the Redcar High Street deep clean last year.
