A round up of Local News in Redcar and Cleveland for Wednesday 22nd February 2017.
The MAYOR of Redcar and Cleveland has released a single to help raise money for charity.
Councillor Barry Hunt recorded 'Hurry Home', a 1980s hit written by Stockton-based songwriter Steve Thompson.
The money raised will go to the Mayor's chosen charities - Redcar's Coatham House which provides shelter for young people in need, and Earthbeat, a theatre group for adults with learning disabilities.
We spoke to Barry at the release of his music video.
The CD is available to buy now at several businesses across Redcar and Cleveland including the Earthbeat Centre in Saltburn, Loftus Town Hall and Reloved Clothing in Redcar.
Songwriter Steve Thompson told us a little bit more about the single.
Saltburn Animal Rescue Association has been given a donation of 5000 pounds with the specific purpose of funding vet treatment.

And Saltburn X Factor winner James Arthur has been nominated for two awards at tonight's Brit Awards.
He is in the running for “Best British Single” and “Best Video” for his hit single ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’.
He’s up against global superstars including Calvin Harris and Coldplay.
‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ was James’ second number one single.
It was released four years after he won X Factor and sold more than 1.3 million copies, becoming the best-selling X Factor winner’s single of all time.
His album ‘Back From the Edge’ also went straight to number one.
