In the video footage, the man filming demands to know why the taxi driver was sitting in the back of the taxi with a teenage girl.

The video has since been widely shared and viewed across social media.

Police took the man into custody on Wednesday - and after new information charged him yesterday.

The council are asking residents to donate to Redcar Area Foodbank in the lead up to Christmas.

The foodbank has had an increasing demand since the start of summer and is now urgently looking for more donations for the holiday season.

Treats such as chocolate and biscuits are wanted to help give foodbank users a bit of extra cheer over Christmas and New Year.

They are also asking for new toys to include in food parcels for families.

However they have a high demand for everyday items like fruit and vegetables, meat and tinned food.

The foodbank is based in Dormanstown and offers food to people across Redcar and Cleveland.
