Heavy rain and roadworks made driving conditions tricky for drivers over the weekend.
Standing water on Skelton Ellers and Apple Orchard Bank made driving difficult, whilst on Ladgate Lane at Marton the B1380 was underwater close to Marton Railway Station, underneath the railway bridge.
There were also queues on Kirkleatham Lane heading into Redcar which was also affecting the Trunk Road, due to the four way lights at Coatham Roundabout. The roadworks are expected to continue to cause traffic disruption throughout today.
Clubbers and dance fans enjoyed a night of first class entertainment last night as a legendary DJ hit the decks in Redcar.
