Police are appealing for information after a vehicle was broken into and a high value hedge cutter was stolen.

The incident occurred on Saturday 23rd July at approx 9:20am on St Georges Road in Grangetown.

A vehicle belonging to Coast and Country was broken into and a STIHL petrol hedge cutter being stolen, it was Orange and White in colour.

Anyone with information on this incident or who may have been offered this item for sale is asked to contact Southbank Police Station on 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

 

 

Police have thanked a member of the public who alerted them to the location of a stolen motorbike on Friday.

Officers at Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team received a call from a member of the public on Friday morning to report two suspicious males pushing a motorcycle in the West Dyke Road area of Redcar.

Police attended and the two men made off from police leaving the motorcycle outside the Wine Lodge opposite the racecourse.

The motorcycle was identified as one which had been reported as being stolen from Whitby.

Officers have chase to the men on foot who were hiding in a number of local garden.

Two local men were arrested and were interviewed by officers from North Yorkshire police.

The motorcycle has now been returned to its owner.

 

 

Graduates from across the country are being offered the opportunity to get on the fast track to a career in health service management with a local NHS Trust.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting high calibre graduates to apply for a place on its new 23-month management training scheme to work in either general management or human resources.

Places on the scheme, which includes a starting salary of just under £20,000, are limited with only six general management positions and one human resources placement being available.

The scheme is part of the trust’s aim of encouraging talent to Teesside and North Yorkshire.
