An allegedly disqualified driver has been arrested after a car flipped onto its roof in a crash in Marske yesterday.
At around 8.15am yesterday the driver of a Vauxhall Astra crashed into two cars that were parked on Redcar Road in Marske. The incident partially blocked off the road as police and the fire brigade attended the scene.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs and having no insurance.
It's understood there were no serious injuries in the collision.
Residents of a street in Guisborough have expressed their concern after ten fire engines turned up to a nearby residential care home.
People living near to the Park House Care Home in Guisborough were shocked to see the fire engines outside the care home at around 9 o'clock yesterday morning.
Addressing the concerns, Cleveland Fire Service confirmed that the appliances were in attendance at the care home for a routine practice run.
A spokesperson said that the reports of a fire at a residential care home on Park Lane, Guisborough were a false alarm.
They said that they regularly carry out visits to instruct the residents on fire safety, and that the public should not be alarmed.
A man who has been left distraught after discovering 10 of his pedigree rabbits were stolen is offering a reward for their safe return.
Rabbit breeder Leslie Mitchell is offering £100 to anyone who can return his Dutch show rabbits after they were taken from his Wilton Lane allotment in Guisborough.
The theft happened between the hours of 5am and 9am yesterday morning where nine Dutch rabbits and one show rabbit were taken.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the rabbits should contact Cleveland Police on 101.
