Marske United lead the Northern League First Division after the first week's action following two tremendous wins for Carl Jarrett's men.

The Seasiders defeated one of last season's strongest sides Dunston, in their own back yard, 3-1, on Saturday then crushed Penrith 7-0 on Tuesday night, with new signing Jamie Owens already firing three goals in two games.

Marske are in FA Cup action on Saturday with a local derby in the Extra Preliminary Round at the GER Stadium. Neighbours Billingham Town, who have made a solid start to Northern League Division Two, provide the opposition.
